It was a flurry of activities at the official unveiling of Legacy Empire Music label, its signed artistes and management at the White House Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, recently.
The event was graced by different media houses and celebrities including Denrele Edun, African China, Comedian De-Don, Shine Begho OAP) and the Empire team.
Music and visual artists currently signed on to LEM include FirewoodZ, Tosing, Cocoa, and young, talented music producer, MadskillZ. Although absent at the unvieling, other talented acts signed include visual artistes, Olawunmi Banjo, Austin Uzor and Assina Obela, who is also a fashion model.
LEM family include Henry Emenike, the CEO/Record Label Executive, Sunnie Odafe as the General Manager (LEM Africa), Adeola Olofuntiyi, the Marketing Manager, with Nazom Chambers being the company’s solicitor and legal adviser, Ehimhen A. Davies and John Dennis, are in charge of the artistes and repertoire division of the record label.
Speaking at the unveiling, African China stressed the need for young artistes, both upcoming and already established, to stay away from drugs, while Denrenle Edun urged young artistes to be persistent and keep striving till they get to the top.
