THE Nasarawa State Government has said it will commence electronic payment of outstanding allowances to all corps members serving under the state government on or before Monday, March 19, 2018.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth, students and NGOs, Samuel Akala made the revelation on Wednesday in an exclusive chat with Nigerian Tribune in Lafia.
According to Akala, the payment would capture October 2017 which the screening was conducted to date.
He added that those in the health sector have received their allowance up to date.
Nigerian Tribune reports that the state government has been owing to corps members in the state their outstanding allowances especially those serving in the educational sector.

But the state government in October 2017, conducted a screening exercise to enable it to commence electronic payment to all corps members in the state.
