In this 2018, Nigeria is gradually moving into anarchy, nepotism and sheer injustice. Since the unfortunate annulment of the June 12, 1993, general elections which was widely accepted as the most free and detribalized election in Nigeria which was won by Late Chief M.K.O Abiola, Nigeria democracy has yet to come to the reality of modern times
We are daily greeted with bad news of uncountable loss of lives of inno9cent Nigeriands in their prime at the hands of Fulani herdsmen especially in six states; Benue, Kogi, Taraba, Borno, Nasarawa and mass burial is no more a strange phenomenon
Is God responsible for the plights of Nigerians like Ola Rotimi’s the Gods are not to blame? No, God is not responsible. Is it a matter of APC or PDP? No. Government should find a solution to the issue of insecurity as a matter of urgency and change all strategy of combating illegal or unwanted insurgent herdsmen.
Buhari must declare a state of emergency on insecurity as a matter of priority. There is no respect for human life. Recently, two catholic priests and 18 others were killed during a funeral. Nigerians are suffering in other African nations but cannot come home because they fear for their lives. The inability of the Buhari led government to find a solution to this may lead to civil war.
There is executive and legislative faceoff regularly, if federalism has failed us, let us go back to regionalism. The messiah of 2015 has turned to a helpless and clueless as well as visionless.
There is no respect for the rule of law. Enough is enough, people are tired. Mass killing must come to an end, enough of shedding innocent blood. Nothing is working in this country; from the judiciary to health and all other sectors. It is time to stop this menace or step down for others to do the work.
