The Nigeria Police have declared four gang leaders and principal suspects wanted in connection with the April 5 banks robbery in Offa, Kwara State.
According to a press release made available to Saturday Tribune by the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), ACP Jimoh Moshood, the four suspects (Names not given) whose pictures were released to the public and the media, were being sought following the earlier arrest of 20 suspects.
The FPRO stated that two Baretta pistols, 20 rounds of live ammunition, four mobile phones and SIM cards belonging to victims, some of whom were killed in the attacks, had so far been recovered by the police.
“To this end, the photographs of these wanted suspects are now being released to the public for assistance on information that will lead to their arrest,” he said.
He urged members of public, who have any information about the wanted suspects, should contact the police, assuring that the police would keep the identities of informants protected and also would reward those with credible information with a sum of N5million as promised by the Kwara State government.
