For doing dance justice to her Bonsue track, popular music act, Omawumi, gave out a pair of expensive shoes to her fan, Juliet Emubor.
This was one of the major highlights at the Glo Mega Music Nationwide Tour, which held last Saturday at Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
For the second time, Port Harcourt played host to the Glo music tour, which was held at Trans Amadi Area of the Garden City.
The event, sponsored by leading telecommunications giant, Glo, featured a line-up of superstars, who provided state-of-the-art entertainment to the audience, with popular female disc jockey DJ Nana, providing pleasurable tunes, as she worked magic with her wheels of steel.
Hiphop discovery, Uche Ikachukwu, popularly known as Katch, performed first, at the event held at the Hub Event Centre, followed closely by Mavin Records female vocalist, Hadiza Blell, known in the music industry as Di’ja.
Glo brand ambassador, Omawumi, performed next, and received loud cheering from the crowd, taking the show to another level, when she gifted a pair of shoes to her fan, Emubor, as reward for her dancing feat.
Afterwards, Kiss Daniel, Yemi Alade, Phyno and 2Baba, thrilled the audience to electric performances.
Nollywood stars, Uche Jombo and Juliet Ibrahim, anchored the show, which also sa Nollywood legends, Patience Ozokwor, aka, Mama G; Kanayo O. Kanayo, and Richard Mofe-Damijo, making celebrity guests appearances.
Narrating her experience, one of the attendees, Mary Agoha, said: “this is the best of all the shows I have attended and the beauty of it is that this show is free and I thank Glo for making my day.”
Another attendee, Nkemere Divine, urged other corporate organisations “to take a cue from Globacom and delight their customers. I have attended all the four shows organised by Globacom in Port Harcourt and I am happy that a Nigerian company is doing this.”
The 27th edition of the show takes place in Ikorodu, Lagos.
