Rasaq Obe has emerged Chairman, Mobil Producing Nigeria Branch of Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN).
This followed his electoral victory at the recent 5th Triennial Branch Delegates Conference of PENGASSAN held in Calabar, Cross River State.
Until his election, Razaq, trained as a petroleum engineer in University of Benin, served as Chairman of Eket Chapter of the Association.
In his acceptance speech, Rasaq said his leadership will focus on job security, return to work of inappropriately separated colleagues, prevention and reversal of jobs, off shoring and others.
Mobil Producing Nigeria has been in a protracted conflict with PENGASSAN since its 83 members were separated from the company in controversial circumstances in December 2016.

PENGASSAN members, in their various remarks, expressed confidence that Obe, will foster better industrial relations.
