#Tribune exclusive: Nigeria's star player, Nwakali, heads to Arsenal

Nigeria's 2015 FIFA Under-17 World Cup Most Valuable Player (MVP), Kelechi Nwakali, has expressed the confident of having a suscessful career at Arsenal Football Club.

In an execusive chat with #TribuneSports, Nwakali, who led the Golden Eaglets to victory at the 2015 FIFA World Championship in Chile, said it is a dream come true for him to be heading to a big club like Arsenal and having the oppotinuity to work with a great manager like Arsene Wenger.

TribuneSports learnt that the Diamond Football Academy product billed to jetted out to London on Thursday night on British Airways with his elder brother, Allwell Nwakali, and the Stellar Group representative, Errol Olumide Olowu, who broker the deal with Arsenal and his partner, Josh Alejo, is expected to do his medical before signing a four year deal.

He stated that he is not going to Arsenal to make up the number but to make a name for himself, his family and the nation, saying "with God not is impossible."

According to him, "I am going to Arsenal to work and try to be the best I can, and with God anything is possible, to work hard to justify my claim for first team football."

The Eziobodo, Owerri-born footballer revealed that he is keen and will make request for No 25 made popular by one of his football heroes, Kanu Nwankwo.

Meamwhile his Golden Eaglets teammate, Samuel Chukwueze, is exepected to also be in London next month to also sign for Arsenal.
