Osun 2018: Saraki, David Mark to midwife total reconciliation in PDP
As parts of the moves to ensure total reconciliation within the rank and file of Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), arrangements have been concluded for the intervention of the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki and erstwhile Senate President, General David Mark (rtd), with a view to restoring total peace in the party.
This disclosure was contained in a press statement signed by the chairman of the PDP in Osun, Honourable Soji Adagunodo, which was forwarded to Saturday Tribune in Osogbo on Friday.
Adagunodo, who assured members of the party’s leadership at the state and national levels not to leave anybody behind in its reconciliatory process, said there was the critical need to restore effective unity and cohesion in the party before the conduct of September 22 governorship election in the State.

He stated: “Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki has undertaken to come to Osun State in order to facilitate an all encompassing reconciliation of party members and ensure that PDP goes into September election as one indivisible unit. In addition, Senator David Mark will also be in Osun State as part of the process of ensuring that all shades of interest are accommodated in all other elective and appointive positions in the state”.
While imploring all aggrieved members of the party to exercise patience, Adagunodo appealed to those who have instituted litigations in courts to withdraw such suits in the interest of peace and total reconciliation.
